Khyaalon ki Khichdi !!!
bhaiyon aur unki behnon...
yaar abhi abhi apun ke dimaag mein khyaalon ki khichdi chal rahi thi. I was reading some past news articles about the policies of the Govt. of India. haan haan, apne mahaan Bharat desh mein bhi policies banti hain...how they are implemented is another matter altogether.
Anyways, khyaalon ki khichdi par wapis aate hain. I was thinking of two things.
1. Every year in the Budget, the Govt. of India raises the prices of cigarettes. This has happened unfailingly over the last couple of years. But the bigger question is: kya daam badane se Indian public sutta peena band kar degi??? socho socho...arey if someone is addicted to something, i believe he or she would go to any extent to get it, chahe uska price jo bhi ho. Instead of raising awareness about the harmful effects, revenue badane ke chakkar mein lage hain sab. aur haan cigarettes ke dabbe par bhoot-pret dikhane se awareness nahi badti...mere khyaal se to the best way to make people understand the harmful effects of smoking would be to tell them that it would make them impotent. dekho kya dhansu effect hota hai. :-)
2. The second thing is about the price of Oil products. Just a couple of days back, the Govt. has decided not to raise the prices of Petrol, Diesel, LPG etc. etc. so as not to burden the poor common man. abey O policy banane walon!!! yeh to socho ki tumhare price badane se log use karna band to nahi kar denge na!!! Somebody who bought a car would not keep it at home...and that too in a country where public transportation is already a mess (think about travelling in a Blueline bus in Delhi). aur agar LPG ka price badega to ghar mein sab log kya puraane time ki tarah angithi par khaana banana shuru kar denge. Atleast the govt. should think about the oil companies also. Itna bada bada loss le kar chal rahi hain sab companies. I can't even count the zeroes in the loss figures they give out.
What do you say guys. Leave your comments. pata to chale ki India ki public kya sochti hain Govt. of India ki policies ke baare mein.

News Flash !!!
Once more, India lost to Australia. Once more, they buckled under pressure. Once more, the Aussies have proved why they are the best team in the world. Once more….
Infact, on second thoughts, a news flash should now happen only when India wins…
All the hype and hoopla after the T20 win pushed these cricketers out of the stratosphere…The Aussies have once again brought them back to the earth. And going by their momentum, by the end of this series, they would surely push these good for nothing Indian cricketers into the nether world (read pataal-lok). And if they don’t, me thinks that by the end of the Pakistani series, the Indian public should themselves dig a huge hole and push all of these nincompoops in.
Kya velle hain hum !!!
You know what!!! the thing I notice most nowadays in every walk of life is how velle we all are...
Be its politics, or cricket, or simply the fact that the maid didn't come today, we have so much of spare time that we can discuss any topic under the sun.
Just the other day, while going home on the horribly traffic-loaded and digged-up Delhi roads, saw a car hit a bike...and within seconds, before those two poor guys could even get off their vehicles to assess any damage, a crowd had gathered...come on guys, let those two people sort it out among themselves. Whether they do it in a civilized manner or using some dhishum-dhishum, how does it matter to anybody else? complete street circus i say. :-)
And then to top it all, everyone had an opinion on how to drive...and all this talk turned to how bad the government is in managing the country...and then even to the personal lives of some national leaders....
Talk about vellapanthi !!!Like that Reliance ad running these days says...Indians have a lot of free advice...and a lot of time to give that free advice...:-)
